Rosie and Sacha visit the Australian Synchrotron

Australian Synchrotron visit

The Australian Synchrotron (in Melbourne) is a world-class research facility that uses X-ray and infrared towards atomic-level exploration across fields such as health, environment, energy, and materials science. Through projects like Project BRIGHT, the facility is expanding its capabilities, supporting over 5,000 researchers annually.

Our PhD students Rosie and Sacha visited the Australian Synchrotron (a part of ANSTO - Australia's Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) where protein X-ray crystallography is conducted. Our previous doctoral student Eleanor now works there!
